A forced landing caused by a storm led a passionate scientist to find a paradise to which he would end up giving his life. Today, thirty years later, he returns to the Chiribiquete mountain range, in the heart of the Amazon, to lead an expedition in which he meets the tepuyes, the oldest geological formations on the planet, and the cave paintings that make it a site of the highest archaeological interest. This return is explained by a young filmmaker who faces adversity to bring a testimony in which both experiences are mixed: his and that of the scientist.
