Our collaborators

The Museum of Footwear and Industry is a museum center that emerged thanks to the involvement of many people and entities. Its collaboration makes it possible to conserve, research and expand the Museum’s collection, carry out temporary exhibitions, programme cultural and dissemination activities, and create educational resources, among many other things. Through annual subsidies, the Consell de Mallorca provides resources for obtaining new museum facilities and developing cultural projects. With the University of the Balearic Islands we have signed several internship agreements that annually bring different undergraduate and master’s students who complete their practical training in the Museum. Thanks to the SOIB Jove programme, every year we have a young qualified technician who provides fundamental support for the management of the Museum. “Es Grop”, Training Center of the City Council, collaborates with the manufacture of wooden exhibition furniture for the Museum. The City Council Brigade is also in charge of issues related to its maintenance and help in the assembly of the exhibitions. AFACA (Association of Manufacturers and Footwear Assistants of Mallorca), Camper, Viva Hotels and Caixa Colonya have made financial donations so that the Museum can renew the entire museography of the permanent exhibition. Likewise, Gràfiques García has provided the Museum’s visiting guides
