Alfabet Lottusse

Alfabet Lottusse

The exhibition is presented as the result of the collaboration between the artist Albert Pinya (Palma, 1985) and the Mallorcan footwear brand Lottusse. Launched in 2023, the collaboration is structured as a sequence of acts and actions that have emerged over these two years, culminating in a collection of new, limited and exclusive pieces.

The collection, entitled ‘Pinya Citrus Alphabet’, champions a philosophy linked to artisanal processes and manufacturing, to the defence and exaltation of the territory and the local in order to become universal, to the pursuit of quality and excellence, and to the propagation of responsible dynamics and values such as identity, passion or curiosity for continuing to learn and evolve. In Pinya’s artistic practice, one of the seeds of their research and one of the unique hallmarks of their work centres on the obsession with constructing a language that can adapt to any channel, register or medium. Her cross-disciplinary and versatile approach proposes the interaction of artistic manifestations from everyday contexts and environments such as advertising, design, crafts, gastronomy, music, fashion, etc. This type of exercise, which constitutes the artistic/creative process from a collaborative fabric, has been and remains a constant in their practice throughout these twenty years of their career. The collaboration with Lottusse represents the fusion and plurality through which shared stories can be communicated and constructed, from different points of view and settings, in an atmosphere of absolute contemporaneity.
